How to Find and Enter Blog Contests

Contests have really become a huge thing in the blogosphere. It really benefits everybody involved; it gives both the sponsor and the contest holder more exposure and links back, and it gives the blogger a chance to win something by only blogging about it.

To find all of the contests available, subscribe to the RSS feeds of blogs dedicated to contests, such as this blog. Contestu.com. Here is our RSS feed. There are other great contest blogs out there as well, Here’s a quick list of some of my favorites:

To enter most contests, the only thing you have to do is write about the contest and link back to the blog hosting the contest and/or the sponsor(s). It’s usually that simple! Some contests often have special rules you need to follow, so be sure to pay close attention to the details. I also recommend creating a separate “contests” category to place your contest blogs into so your readers can find the contests when they want, and so they’re always aware of what they’re reading.

Whenever you have a feeling none of the above blogs found a contest for you, search on Technorati and Google Blog Search for more contests you may have missed.
